•       Millionaires talk about ideas, they think assets that would put money in their pocket, they don’t quit easily and they think long-term. They work for profits.                               

•       Middle class talks about things; they are the typical hype persons who are more on...  What’s the latest gadget in town??? They think short-term, and work for wages.

 

 

•       Poor people lives just to get by; they want to be rich instantly by betting lotto and hoping they will become a millionaire someday. Their favourite past time is to talk about other people.

WHAT IS YOUR GOAL?

Some of the richest men in the history started with nothing. To mention a few are John Rockefeller, Henry Ford, J.C. Penny  and  here in the Philippines is our tycoon  Henry  Sy. These men build their wealth from rags to riches. But they all share one thing in common ... They  got a vision... they set lifelong GOALS.

WHAT ARE YOUR LIFELONG GOALS?

We all have goals, but are they the right ones for us? Some people unfortunately set goals that lack clear definition.  Lifelong goals should include major decisions on things such as career, your financial vision, and more importantly your family. Effective goal setting should be:  

              SMART!!!

-          SPECIFIC

-          MEASURABLE

-          ACHIEVABLE

-          REALISTIC

-          TIME BOUND

   

 A GOAL without a deadline is nothing more than a dream. To achieve success, you must set specific goals with target completrion dates, and develop a plan to meet these goals.

 

Without a vision for the future, without setting a purpose  in your heart to pursue, you will go backwards and accomplish nothing.

LEARNING THE VALUE OF TIME

Nowadays, there are many people who want to get rich quick. One proof is the lotto outlet... every time there is a big Jackpot you will see how long the lines are. Who wouldn't want to get rich anyway? It's everybody's dream... and it's your dream too!

But becoming wealthy is a Journey, NOT a destination. So many lottery winners are now bankrupt after throwing away their winnings through unwise spending. It takes time to earn money and it also takes time to make that money grow.

TIME can be a powerful tool, the younger you are, the more opportune it is to build wealth. The less time you have, the less likely it would be to build significant wealth-- but still you can!

Ask this question:  "WHERE AM I RIGHT NOW?"

BE AWARE - Don't throw up your hands in despair and give up; instead let this reality inspire you to make some changes. Be concerned in the sense that you know you have some work to do, to bring your finances under control so you can do something about it.

If you don't know where you are, then you don't know where you need to start. It is not an accident of fate that you are where you are. If you do not change the choices you made in the past, you will end up in the same place in the future.
